Welcome Screen

This screen only appears the first time you run Myallo HotList.

On top of the screen, an alert might appear asking you if it is OK to use your location. While not absolutely necessary, knowing your location in relation to other People and Places is essential to calculating Hotness.
The main purpose of this screen is to get information on you, such as your name, by asking you to select your own Contact from the Contact list on your device. This sets your name, photo and some basic information.
Touch the item named “Contacts…” and choose your name from the Contacts list. When you do, your name will appear on the Contacts item. You can change it by touching the item again. Now that you are associated with your Contact, it will stay up to date with changes you make, such as updating your picture.
Myallo HotList can send your location to and get information from certain External Services, If you are a member of a service in the list, touch its name and in the following screen, enter your user ID, optional password, and on some services, you can turn on an option to periodically send your location to the service.
With your Contact selected, touch the Done button to dismiss this screen and start using the application.
If you don’t have a contact set up in your Contacts application, you can exit by pressing the Home button, set one up, and return.
If you touch Done without selecting a contact, your Person will be named “(not set up)” to start you off. You can touch that at any time, and on the Person Screen that appears, you can select a Contact. To give your Person a name, you have to associate it with something – a Contact, or one of the External Services that has a profile for you.
All this information can be set later on thePerson or Options Screen, but it’s useful to set it up at the start, especially your Contact info.
