With TrackinU you can:

TrackinU maps the geo-tagged tweets of Twitter users, and displays the routes members took, taking advantage of Twitter’s feature that tags tweets with a geographic location..

If your friend goes on a road trip and sends geo-tagged tweets along the way, you can track them on the map, see when and where they went, and read what they said. You can save the map for reference, or mail it to anyone as a souvenir!
